Phew, it’s gettin hot out there… But the best way to stay cool in the summer: Jasyn.com!

Well it couldn’t last forever… Finally we are getting temps over 100 degrees, and when that starts you can count on two things here in Phoenix, 1) you can start cooking breakfast on the sidewalk, and 2) that swimming becomes the only thing you can do outside for an extended period of time. This past week was tedious in itself to say the least, with everything that Susan and I have been doing around the house we needed a weekend to re-cooperate.

This past week we had more pictures developed and then started hanging some other stuff up. We turned the back living room add-on into a ‘Man-Cave’, where I have my PS3 setup and my sports memorabilia will be. We also had added some decorative pictures to the living room and went through 5 tubs and 2 boxes. Not to mention all the duplicate or expired items we ditched in the trash… [I hate to waste but it was necessary with the lack of storage space we have left]… and after going through all of our dishes and cookware it has become abundantly clear that we need to have a garage sale! We do not plan to have it for a while, but we’ll keep you posted when we do decide to have it!

So this weekend we decided to head to my parents house to hang out with the folks and take a nice swim in my fathers self proclaimed ‘perfect water’… Which is quite refreshing to say the least! Susan and I enjoyed a great swim with my folks and they treated us to a steak dinner on my Faja’s new grill! And if you know Jasyn, Me love me some steak!!!!

Sunday Susan and I went to the movies and saw the new Shrek movie [Early showing], then went to Costco and finally got a membership so that we can just go to town in bulk! and then vegged out the rest of the night at home! So overall a productive yet relaxing weekend all in one

This week hopefully we can get another handyman down to fix the house, but this week is dedicated to getting bills up to date, and getting even more done with the house [I've just given up on trying to do it all in a day or two cuz that plan has failed already several times]… but soon I’ll have another Poker game and possibly a get together… but with Susan leaving towards the end of the month it might get a bit delayed, but that’s the way the cookie crumbles… Well Better get back to the old grind… you know how that is!

Either you’ve noticed or you haven’t been here in a while, but Jasyn.com has undergone another total face lift! After some intense coding sessions Jasyn.com is now supporting a new skin and a more uniformed look throughout the site which has never been totally completed before. Some bugs are still being worked out in certain areas and some minor coding still needs to be done, but I wanted to welcome you all to the new Jasyn.com!

Okay before you freak out… I am not a pervert…. [okay can't maybe I am] but what I mean is that finally the decorating has begun in the house! Susan and I have been itchin’ to get some pictures developed and to start hanging frames and other items on the wall. Not to mention all the little nuances that a home needs to feel comfy and home like!

Well after a few trips to Michael’s and Anna’s Linens, and [Gag]mart… We have been able to get some accent rugs in the hallway, some new cooking ware, some silk flowers, and even some kitchen mats… not to mention all the picture frames and such for the walls!

So the issue came when we wanted to find the pictures to develop, and pretty much about the collage that we decided to buy has pictures that are vertical instead of traditional horizontal view. Well we did find a few to fill in the gaps. Hopefully in the future we’ll better plan them… Luckily CVS can print images from my computer and pick them up right in the store…

Well gotta get back to hammering the walls… Just wanted to pop in and keep you all in the know! C-ya Next week!

Hello again all my Jasyn.com faithful, and welcome once again to another entry brought to you by the man himself…. JASYN!!!!

Well things have finally settled down enough for me to finally get an entry posted… I know it’s been crazy this week but I think I have enough ammo to finally post something worth while up on here! So let us get underway…

Well earlier in the month I was told that I was approved for my new shift much earlier than I had anticipated, but since I was going to be closer to my new location at the house, I bumped up my move as well so that I would be able to knock it out as soon as possible… This was a great idea in theory, but luckily I was able move most of my stuff over the past month and a half prior little by little… and I was only left with one TV, my dresser, and a couch left in the apartment… The rest of the apartment came over with me in the bed of my truck… It was a total pain, but at least the weather was on our side and also so was the timing for a change…

Prior to our move, Susan’s roommate was staying at the house to help with rent, but unfortuneatly after a falling out between us [Karen and I], She tried to sabotage us any way she could… When we moved out of the condo into the house, she had given us her couches and bookcases along with a couple dressers in exchange for helping her move and paying for the moving truck… Well that deal was completely blown out the window when even though we filled our end of the bargain, Karen [while Susan and I were not home] hired to boys to help pack up all the items she gave to us in order spite us… Well the funny thing was that this whole process that Karen wanted to do to spite us, ended up doing more good for us than harm… With the added room I was able to more comfortably fit all my stuff from the apartment in, along with my furniture and TV’s without having to work around Karen’s junk… Kinda ironic, but again worked out for the better

Also now that Susan and I have moved, I also kept my other end of the bargain of helping Susan get an elliptical machine and helping assemble it, so now our little home has workout equipment… go figure that one out

May turned out to be one hell of a month… Not only with the move but also with My Father and Brother’s birthday… Then there was Mother’s day…. oh and not to mention the 6 hours of cleaning it took to get the apartment back to ‘rentable’ order [Mind you this also included dusting, vacuuming, cleaning the bathrooms, and steam cleaning so not that it was a total sty, but enough to take up a good part of a decent Saturday!]… Well after all that, I closed up my SRP, Cox, and turned in my keys… so now I’m officially out of the apartment and everything that is to my name is in the house now Thanks to Erik, Dad, Monte [for the trailer], and Susan for all your help getting me into the house!!!

So now after assembling 3 bookcases, and 3 coats of herbicide, and 2 handymen we’re pretty much got day to day life under control… now we’re taking our time with unpacking and enjoying our new home one day at time… Well that’s all I have for now… Time to start rippin through boxes!

Well again, entries are become a bit more scarce due to the move and now it seems things have kinda been escalated and now it appears that I might be moving in to my new place as soon as Next weekend… 0_o … yeah… Well this is in light of the fact that my job has pushed through my transfer to the Scottsdale office about 2-3 weeks earlier than I had expected… That’s okay, better sooner than later, but still now I have to kick it up a notch…

Susan is helping me out this weekend, and staying at my place til tomorrow to help out and get as much over to the house as possible… Mind you I’m not exactly moving ‘everything’ over there this weekend, but just things I know that I can grab and load into the truck with minimal effort… Which seems to include the contents of my closet, and pretty much the majority of my cooking ware and hopefully my mini-entertainment stand for the TV…

This week alone has exhausted me, and infact I’m not really sleeping well again… So Monday I’ll be seeing my old doctor once again to find out what I can do to finally get some rest at night and feel better in the morning… hopefully I’ll have better news in the near future! But since I AM at work, I might as well get SOME work done lol… well catch you all later!!!
