Moving Right Along!

Tuesday, February 2nd, 2010

Happy February Everyone, and welcome to Jasyn.com!!! Sorry about the short break in entries, as usual I’ve been keeping busy, but you know I’ll keep you all up to date soon enough ;)

Well over the past couple weeks I’ve been busy, but not in the sense of a laundry list of items that needed to be done, but mainly working, and getting things in order and organized in my life… Let me explain… Susan and I have been talking, and being that my lease is coming up in the end of may, we decided instead of me renewing my lease that we just rent a place of our own… Well after discussing with Susan the possibilities, we’ve come to the conclusion to Rent a house back up in North Phoenix… So more than likely I’ll be moving back to the same area I moved away from about a year and a half ago… LOL talk about irony :) Well the plan is to start looking for a place now, Susan would move in first before my lease expires, then I would move in a month or two after that…

Everything between Susan and I has been nothing short of absolutely exceptional… We are in complete sync when it comes to our lives and our goals and dreams… Susan also gets along with my family so well, it’s almost like they’ve adopted her in to the family [not to say she doesn't already have a family, but it has been difficult for my parents to fully accept the women I've dated in the past]…

Well enough with the mushy stuff ;) lol… More on the Jasyn in the workforce! A new position opened up where I can become a web designer… It’s something I’ve had my eye on for a while, however still no word yet on an interview… I did build a resume online to help boost my chances of getting the job, but the way it looks is that all I need to get my foot in the door with an interview and with my credentials and skills should be able to do that rest… or so I hope….

Well… stay tuned for more information…. Including a new competition between a couple friends! 0_o

Jasyn.com Reaches 150! And a Year in Review!

Monday, December 21st, 2009

Welcome, Welcome and Welcome again to a very special entry from Jasyn.com! This Entry is dedicated to YOU the very special readers that have been keeping up with everything that has been going on for the past 5 years 4 months and 5 days since my very first entry oh so long ago! Today we have reached a Milestone of 150 Entries and if it were not for my readers I’d never would never have reached this many entries!!! So this goes out to you, my readers! Thank you!!!!

I can’t believe that I’ve been able to keep Jasyn.com going for so long… When I started this site back in 2003, honestly I thought it was going to just be a fun thing that I’d eventually lose interest in… However, after getting emails and seeing the stats and having people actually tell me that they enjoy my site, I’ve kept it going and going and now I don’t believe that I’ll ever stop… Well least not unless I have anything to say about it :) So many things have been entered into here to tell about the story of my week to week life, and I’ve left everything on the table for everyone in the world to read just a little bit about a man just living a life worth living! Some people find my life to be comical, while others feel that my life could be described as tragic, and some find inspiration through my words to live their lives and find joy and happiness within themselves and the people around them… And that’s what makes Jasyn.com so special I believe, is that even though I tell the story of my life, everyone can take a story from here and learn from my triumphs and mistakes, and even learn to support someone that you might not have met face to fact, but still support that person because they are human and we all need a little support from time to time!!!

Over the years I’ve been able to see many great things, and reported them here on Jasyn.com… From going to watch the Indianapolis 500 from only 4 rows away from Pit Row, to watching a Cardinals game in the Lower Bowl; Going to see the Grand Canyon in the snow, and having a blast with the guys in the family in Vegas… but also many things have happened that also continue to leave me grounded and realizing that with life comes peaks and valleys… With the Lies of Malibu and Leigha, to the death of my beautiful son Andrew who I constantly think about… which leads me to my next point, and I can prove this to be true, that in you can gain everything just as easily as have everything taken away in the same moment in time… So my advise to anyone who is reading this: Enjoy the tiny pleasures and joys in life while you have them here in this moment…

This year has now coming into it’s final 2 weeks and with Christmas coming up this week, and New Years Day is just around the corner; Traditionally I Do my annual ‘Year in Review’… 2009 hasn’t been the greatest year, but then again a lot has been accomplished and many battles have been fought and won for myself this year… But starting this year, as I do every year, I have my birthday in Mid January… and I was able to have my birthday wish come true!!! To see my Cardinals go all the way to the Super Bowl… an Amazing run that saw them go all the way to the last possession and playing a truly awe-inspiring game… though they lost, it still validated everything that I knew to be true with my Cardinals and that they did have it in them to play on the worlds greatest stage!

A couple weeks later, I saw myself with my father, brother and cousin in Las Vegas for my first true Vegas experience… Leaving my girlfriend [at the time] behind to go gamble, see a comedy show, and see the sites of Las Vegas with my own eyes was a truly memorable and something I will never forget :) Not too long after being home, driving along in Mesa My truck was slammed from behind by two vehicles… The truck was repairable but I had sustained back injuries that might be with me the rest of my life… I did go to treatment, and I do feel a lot better by now, but sometimes my back does get exhausted much easier and I’ve noticed that I do get pains more easily than I’m used to… But after 7 months of waiting it out, I was able to reach an agreement with the insurance company to settle out of court with my medical bills paid and some money for myself… hopefully soon in the new year I’ll be able to get myself a nice new vehicle! But only time will tell with that!

Well in May, after my fathers and brothers birthday, I had to get back into the dating game… After what Blair had done, I had to kick her to the curb to allow for a more loyal and committed person to enter my life… however the dating scene was bare at best… Date after useless date I went on in 2009 to no avail… If there was anything that I could say about 2009 is that all I kept finding was Flakes, Selfishness, Conceded, and just women who didn’t know what the hell they wanted and were only succeeding in wasting time… Blair turned out to be a flop, but at least she wanted something… I had gone on so many first dates from OkCupid and many other free sites, but then a friend of mine forced me into signing up on Match.com… I reluctantly agreed to join… and for the most part, during my 3 month membership, it was the same ol’ story… Getting first dates but never getting a call back; or starting to date someone who tells you exactly what you want to hear, only to have them break up with you for the most half-assed excuse ever; and others who are willing to text you 100x a day but can’t muster to schedule a 30 minute meal with you to meet up… well it’s funny how things work out… After almost giving up hope and packing it in, I meet the best one of them all in Susan… Who every day seems more and more like the one I’ve been waiting for… So many people have told me that I’ve had too high of standards and I’m being too picky with who I wanted to be with, but Susan validates everything that I had hoped to find in a woman and exceeds all my expectations… She’s in Michigan right now after dropping her off at the airport on Friday… But she’ll be back after the new year so that we can continue what we started :) [do I hear wedding bells in my future? I think so]…

Phew…. I’m not even done yet and my fingers are getting a bit tired ;) But let’s carry on…

This year also helped me deal with a lot pent up issues that I still had over my son Andrew… With his untimely ending shortly after his birth, I still had blamed myself for the only decision that I had to make as his father… So just before fathers day, I wrote my son a letter and honestly felt much better for it… the only unfortunate part is that the letter made so many people cry after reading it that I had to quickly put it in my archives, but it did serve it’s purpose in letting my son know that no matter what, I still love him!

This year I also got a new roommate… My cousin moved in with me in August because he needed a new place to stay for the time being… it’s been nice to have a roommate, but I do miss living on my own… I mean I can’t walk around naked anymore LOL… (<.<)... (>.>)… (^.^)…. NO I didn’t just say that… but it’s kinda nice to have someone here other than just living on my own, and he helps out a bit with rent and cleaning sometimes… He’s here sometimes but also still stays the night with his girlfriend Margie from time to time… but when he’s here we still have good times :) and if it weren’t for him, I’d never be able to do the haunted house that we built this year, and even hooked me up with cable in my room :D … so Thank’s Erik for all your help with the apartment this year!

And now we return back to where it all started… the end of the 2009 year… just like any year, I’ve had my up’s and downs… keeping in mind that this hasn’t been like most years with something that severe looming in the shadows… even the Era of JASON was pretty mild and met my beautiful girlfriend towards the end of it… But again it’s going to be out with the old and in with the new… I’m looking forward to 2010 more so than in years past… with a bright future ahead and looking forward to starting to get everything in order once again… Now I want to make my predictions in 2010…

I predict that I’ll be back up in North Phoenix by mid 2010, that the Cardinals will fall one game short of the Super Bowl [I hope I'm wrong there], that I’ll be driving a new vehicle by the end of 2010, and that I will have quit smoking before New Years 2011… OIY that’s a tall order… I hope you want fries with that!!! But Everyone have a Merry Xmas! a Happy Hanukkah! a Happy Kwanzaa! and a Great and Safe New Year and I’ll See you all in 2010!!!

[Let the new Decade begin, Jasyn.com Style!!!]

Do You Have That Special Feeling Yet?

Tuesday, December 15th, 2009

There is no rest for the weary, and apparently there’s no rest for Jasyn.com either!

Wow, what a crazy week!!! But I wanted to get this update out of the way really quick for my peeps so we’ll get underway…

Last week I’ve received all my Xmas gifts for my family, all except for my brothers gift like usual, but this past week I got everything wrapped… and I realized two things while wrapping gifts for everyone: 1) That I entirely suck at wrapping gifts, it looks like a Wal-mart greeter did it… and 2) that I can’t Rap either! However, everyone’s gifts are wrapped up and ready for Xmas… It was nice that the seller of Kris’ gift did call me up last week to let me know about an issue with her supplier, but said they might not get another supply til the 16th… so now we’re on gift watch ’09!!!! [countdown sounder from 24 here]

Well this weekend I got to spend more time with Susan, I have been spending all my free time with her that I can, and it’s totally worth every second :) But this weekend I got to pick up Susan and take her up to my parents place where we had ribs and got to sit in the jacuzzi for a while and just relax and have a low-key night… after dinner with my parents we went back to my place and had our Xmas… [Susan is leaving for Detroit next weekend so this was our last chance to exchange gifts] and I’ll be posting those pictures on Jasyn.com shortly :D Susan got me a couple WSOP [World Series of Poker] T-Shirts and Madden ’10 for my PS3… Yeah she knows me ;) I was able to give her a really nice standing Jewelery box and a pair of Pearl Earrings which she wore to work yesterday and apparently got complimented on :) [sorry about all the smileys, Susan just gives me the reason to use so many!]…

Well we just slept in on Sunday for the most part, and just chilled out while I finished laundry and even started getting Susan into an Anime… the most girly one I had too… Midori Days :) and so far she likes it… So hopefully when she gets back I’ll be able to finish that with her and get more anime’s started… Also later this week Kris will be having his graduation ceremony at Arizona State this Thursday! Just wanted to send a Jasyn.com ‘Shout Out’ to my Bro for Graduating! See you Thursday Bro… and it’s only the second time in your life you get to wear a gown and no one will laugh… [cept me of course] LMAO!!!!

Well I will get to see Susan Wednesday night, and Friday before dropping her off at the airport… She’ll be gone for 2 weeks :( But when she comes back I’ll be happy once again :D This week hopefully will not be nearly as crazy as last week… and I’ve had to omit a few parts to my week for the time being… but in any case I’m going to get moving on from this entry!!! So again to all my many fans, be safe out there and bundle up!

Just Another Week in Paradise!

Tuesday, December 8th, 2009

Good morning everyone, and welcome once again to another caffeine filled cup of Jasyn.com!

With Christmas looming in the next few weeks, I’ve gotten all my shopping done, but still I have so much work to do to get everything in order… I’m still waiting for a few gifts to arrive and then it’s time to wrap up all the gifts and then it’s time to party, Jasyn.com style! However, in the meantime, I’ve been keeping busy this holiday season by spending a lot of time hanging out with Susan and getting to know everything I can about her, a long with chilling at home with my cousin… But it’s the weekends that have been quite interesting to say the least!

Well during the week last week I started to get some of the gifts in from the sites I ordered, including my Father’s, Mother’s, and Susan’s gifts all came… But I’m still missing Kris’ and part of mom’s gift still, but they should be here this week… But now I need to get to storage and get my Christmas supplies and I’ll probably do that today after work, but if it’s raining I might postpone that till tomorrow… Who knows! LOL

This past weekend was very very busy too, Saturday as usual I was stuck at work all morning, but with Susan on my mind the day flew by :) [ awww I'm mushy like that lol ] After work I picked up Susan and we went to the Suns/Kings Game… This was Susan’s first Pro-Basketball game and we both had a blast… Although I felt bad, because I get excited to where I yell and scream at the game and I think I got a little loud for Susan’s ears :-| lol she says that it’s all okay, but I still feel bad… After the game we went to a lounge and relaxed a bit and just enjoyed the ambiance before we headed back to her place to crash out for the night…

Sunday came along and we kinda slept in a bit… I can’t even begin to describe the feeling of waking up next to her and just lay in each others arms for the majority of the morning with no rush at all to get up and do anything… We did end up getting up about 10:30 or so, but we had to do a bit of shopping for one of Susan’s students… Then after getting back to her place, my parents picked me up for the Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert… To tell you the truth everyone played them up to be this great group, well I could see them being great about 15-20 years ago, but I passed out during the concert because it was very slow during most of it… It was still somewhat cool at parts but again nothing I’d pay to see again…

After the concert my parents dropped me off at Susan’s place once again and I watched the Cardinals crush the Vikings on Sunday night, and then we had to get to sleep with Susan working the next morning… I was able to drop her off once again at work Monday morning, and again I crashed for a nap when I got home, then took care of laundry and pretty much just relaxed my Monday away… Again pretty productive for a weekend, but next weekend hopefully will be a bit more calm so I can just enjoy it while it lasts…. ;)

That’s pretty much it for this week… upcoming next weekend Susan and I are going to be exchanging our gifts because she leaves for Detroit soon and will be gone for a couple weeks… Also my brother will be graduating next week and I’ll be going to the ceremony on the 17th of this month and I’ll be posting pictures from the event once it happens… Well that’s pretty much all I have for this entry… I’ll have to get some rest and get back to ya later…

I Laugh in the Face of Black Friday!

Tuesday, December 1st, 2009

Well the Turkey is ingested… The Leftovers are packed away… Time to make another entry for Jasyn.com!!!

The holiday season is now in full swing and now it’s time for shopping… well it would be if I had any left to do… Okay, I still have some nic-knack things to get some people but for all my big purchases, they’re all squared away! Yes I did do some Black Friday Shopping, but again this year [as I've done the past 3 years] I did all my shopping online :) So nice not to have to get stressed out by long lines, rude people, and near freezing temperatures at 3AM on a day off LOL… My gifts have already started arriving, which is funny because Susan’s gifts are going to be the first ones to arrive… [I can't give it away on here because she reads my blog... but I'm sure she'll love what I got her]…

So this past week I’ve been busy busy busy, as I’m sure most of you were as well… Well my week went like this… On Wednesday Susan was catching a flight to Las Vegas with her roommate for the holiday… I still think that would be an awesome idea, but I’m saving up for a cruise and that should be happening by early next year… But I met Susan at the Airport before her flight and we had dinner… I bought her a rose and a little teddy bear for the trip :) She just loved that bear and thought it was very sweet… [I love doing little things like that]… I’m going to be sad when she leaves for 2 weeks on her winter break from school… but I understand the need to go back to visit family… After seeing her off, my cousin invited me to go to a concert at the Marquee theater, the band was Hatebreed… I haven’t been to a concert in years so I thought this would be a fun way to start a quick 2 day break… Well after 3 and a half hours of being in and out of Mosh pits, I was done! A punch to the back of the head and an elbow to the face will do that to ya… lol…

Well for Thanksgiving, I did the usual; head up to the folks, get stuffed… debate my folks… Head home and enjoy the full feeling :) I can’t turn down a free meal anyways… but still it is always nice to enjoy the holidays with family! Friday was pretty much relaxing and just wanted to kick back and enjoy finishing up my ‘Assassins Creed 2′ Game :) Saturday I did have to go back to work [Saturday is now my Friday, so yeah kinda sucks not to get 4 full days off in a row, but a 2-1-2 vacation isn't bad either]… After work I got to hang with my friend Katie and we watched ‘Land of the Lost’ along with ‘Up’ and just chilled… Sunday I was able to finally meet up with Susan after her trip and got to spend yet another great night with her and enjoyed each others company and watched cartoons and such… and Monday was just playing catch up with laundry and dishes… LOL… ::Takes a deep breath::

It was a busy busy week but also it had it’s relaxing moments… Things are going very well with Susan and Myself… I’ve been quite surprised on how easily I’ve been able to let myself go with Susan… As most of you know how cautious I’ve been since Malibu and how shut off I’ve been since Andrew… Susan just seems to be different and someone who I can lose myself with and not have to worry… LOL sorry kinda went a bit sappy on you all there for a moment, but I wanted to end on a very positive note… but Let’s get the holidays kicking and get this year over with!

[ Hey it's Snowing on my splash page ;) ]
