Well another year coming to a close and Jasyn.com is still stayin alive!
Welcome everyone to Jasyn.com’s annual Year in Review entry… The final entry of the year I usually like to give a quick post about what happened recently then discuss over the past year in review over what has happened in the last 12 calendar months! So without further adieu….
Last week was pretty crazy with a day off on Thursday and getting everything in order for Christmas and all the driving made for one interesting week… If you’ve been on you’ve probably seen my Xmas pictures already posted for all to see… So last week on Tuesday I was able to meet up with Blair and have a nice quiet evening together where I gave her gift to her… I got her a brand new stereo being hers was stolen out of her last apartment, I didn’t have the time or the money at that moment to get her something else, also I didn’t want to seem overbearing at all either… So it was a simple yet practical gift I think… So on Wednesday after work [which I got out early that day 
] I headed up to my folks house and spent the night there… we watched Scrooge and It’s a wonderful life as usual… I actually went to bed kinda early considering the fact but then woke up rather early as well, so it worked out… So we chilled out, opened gifts, and played WII all day… Also I got my bed spread that I wanted and also a new Playstation 3… so I’ll be playing that a bit more now haha… And I had to go back to work on Friday, but I hung out with Blair all weekend… On Friday we went and saw Twilight; Saturday I invited her mother and sister over for dinner [yes I actually cooked]; and on Sunday we played games and went to bed early… So that’s pretty much what happened over the course of the last week.. I know kinda quick but I wanted to get to my Year in Review 
Wow, hard to believe that 2008 is already done and over with… A ton of things have happened this year, but luckily it was a much better year than the past few years to tell you the truth… But this year started off with a nice vacation to Northern Arizona where I was able to finally plan and execute a vacation really well and went as smooth as possible… I even asked Jenn to marry me in our Bed and Breakfast in Williams, AZ… It was just too bad we got sick and had to shorten it… However, it was very refreshing to leave town for a week and just be on the road… I will have to do that again sometime…
For most of the early part of 2008 nothing much happened other than the usual day to day activities, even the ‘Era of JASON’ was pretty mild for what it has normally been… however after honoring Andrew’s 1st Birthday, Jenn and I had a fight and it ended breaking us up in early August… It was the end of the engagement and the end of our relationship… Although we didn’t work out, we still stay on speaking terms and even now keep each other up to date on each others lives… We just realized that it was better this way… So after the break up, I picked up my little friend lil’ Argon… He’s a Ball Python that is just under a year old… actually he’ll turn a year old in February, and he’s been a member of my family ever since! Mind you he really doesn’t replace a girl, but he’s good company none the less…
Also this year I got to meet up with Dale Jr. and he sent me to NASCAR, which this year I went twice… Mind you I’m not really into NASCAR but it’s fun to go anyways just for atmosphere… The first race in April I didn’t even see the race, just drank all weekend lol, good times!!!
In October, I finally moved out of my old place up in North Phoenix… It was tiresome with that old complex with their 3rd class ways… So I was able to finally pack up and move to my new place in Mesa… Every day I am so glad that I made that move and now I’m closer to work, closer to friends, and even closer to some family now… The new place is clean and even decorated, and it actually looks very well done… I put a lot more effort into this place than my old place as well… And it feels more like home now, than my old apartment ever did!
So In November I redid the new Jasyn.com site, and gave it a complete face lift. With New navigation menu, and same old jasyn.com content, it has a nice feel and comfortable look to it… The new Red and Grey theme was a better way to go than the old chartreuse and black I was going with before… I like the way it came out, because now this site was done completely by me. Including the Navigation menu I created from scratch…
With another year down, and another year coming up I had originally planned to stay single until 2009. But to tell you the truth, I was not expecting to meet someone like the girl I met recently… Her name is Blair… [ yeah I know ] and so far things between us have been really great to tell you the truth… I remain cautiously optimistic about this relationship, but I’m still enjoying every moment I spend with her… She has a very similar personality to my own and we just have a great deal of fun when we are both together… I honestly didn’t see her coming, but I’m glad she has come into my life, and I’m hoping things will work out… Right now I’m satisfied with her being by my side and will enter into the new year with her there as well [aww kodak moment!]…
But that concludes our year in review, 2008 didn’t suck so bad! But again 2009 appears to be a better year, and I’m hoping so as well!!! Thank you to everyone that have helped me along the way this year and hopefully the new year will be beneficial to everyone!!! Nicole couldn’t really afford a gift for me so I just had her make me dinner instead so that she didn’t feel left out… Luckily it was a steak dinner… everyone knows that the way to a Jasyn’s heart is through his stomach with steak! mmmmmmmmm!
