Good morning everyone! And Welcome once again to Jasyn.com!
Phew, what a weekend… For some reason I always have something going and just seems to take a lot out of me, but again I’d rather be doing something than nothing at all… [Sometimes it's nice but not all the time] And this weekend was no exception to the norm… Let’s get started shall we
Well Susan had her birthday last Thursday (HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWEETHEART!), and unfortunately due to some bad communication on my part, Susan thought that I was stopping by on her birthday to see her… This was not the case and she a little upset that she didn’t get to see me on her birthday… Figuring that I was going to see her on Friday thru the reset of the weekend, I sent her flowers for her birthday instead… After a heartfelt apology, she accepted and after seeing the flowers she felt a little better…
Friday however didn’t end up much better, as Susan found out that all teachers in her district with less than4 years experience were getting let go due to funding by the state… The only way she can keep her job is for a state tax initiative to pass… Now NORMALLY I don’t discuss politics… But Please vote YES on Prop100 to help out all our teachers, firefighters and officers keep their jobs in Arizona! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE vote… not just for Susan, but we need this for everyone and the state needs a better budget and if you’re in Arizona, you know how bad we need this too! And that’s my political announcement for this entry…
My name is Jasyn and I approve this message!
Well Aside from that, I picked up Susan and we headed back to the house to pick up some supplies for Susan and then headed back to my place [Working Saturday's Suck!] but that’s a story for another entry! But after work we had celebratory margaritas at Macayo’s which was just across the street from me… we walked there to have dinner and drinks… We had a great time and even my neighbor Josh came and joined us for drinks
it was a great time! Sunday we finally got to go the Renaissance Festival out in Gold Canyon, but we had tried to get breakfast first… That was a Trek all it’s own, after trying place after place that had anywhere between 20-40 mins to wait for a table… After driving around for a while, we found this nice little restaurant in Apache Junction, which turned out to be a huge surprise becuase the food was cheap but very filling
so that worked out after all…
We got to the RenFair just after 11 or so, We had a blast and did quite a bit… We watched a couple performances, got our characture drawn by a professional, then we had a great lunch while we were there, and even had our hands sculpted in wax! It was fun for me too being these were things I haven’t done before either, so it was great times had by all… and then after 6 hours at the RenFair we left to go back home…
Again another adventure filled weekend with booze and wenches! lol… well now I’ll be getting started on moving items into the house, the final move date has been set for the weekend of May 22nd! So if I have more delays in entries in the future, you’ll know why
But hopefully those will be kept at a minimum… But until next time! Don’t get fooled Thursday!
[Spring is in the AIR! AHHH CHOOO!]
