He’s at the 40! The 30! the 20! 10, 5! TOUCHDOWN JASYN.COM!

It’s almost my favorite time of year… no not the era of Jason…. But FOOTBALL SEASON!!! WOOT!!! LOL… Sorry just kinda excited this year more than any other being that my team finally did something last year But again, even if they didn’t, I would still feel like a kid in a candystore this time of year anyways… I hope to go to a couple games this year like I was able to do last year but we’ll see… But on to the week previous to this one in our Jasyn.com WEEKLY RECAP!!!

Well the past couple weeks I’ve been rather busy, ya know the usual, here and there and everywhere… But This past week was even just a little bit more busier than usual… Well last week I spent alot of time with Laurie… we basically watched Anime most of the time and just had a few good laughs… We even finished VanDread as well this past week… On Thursdays normally I go play poker with my cousin, but we ended up sticking around my place and had a few beers as well… But my weekend was crazy busy…

Friday Laurie and I hung out and had fun, she treated me to a nice dinner at Ghangis Grill in the Tempe Marketplace… it was nice to go out to eat for once Then after that we headed back to my place, where I proceeded to get drunk off brandy and just had fun with it… [I think I kinda scared Laurie jk]… We crashed out late [like 4am late!]… I ended up waking up at 9:30 the next morning, but again needed to get myself in gear… So I cleared out my fridge of all the nasty food and crap I had in there for months… after doing that I had created a list for groceries, then woke up Laurie at 1130 or so and headed out to go shopping… It took about an hour or so but then I had everything I needed for Sunday, then I took a shower and headed up to my parents house…

Well My aunt was in town and staying with my parents, so I made and empromtu appearance to say hi and hang out with my family for a day. It was nice to hang out, and swim and even a steak dinner… mmmmmmmm steak……. [drools]… But I stayed there til about 11 or so… and went to bed about 12am and had to wake up early the next day…

Sunday was my Sons birthday, Happy Birthday Andrew…. I woke up and started cleaning up the apartment for everyone to come over in a couple hours, But the original plan was to head to South Mountain in Phoenix like I did last year, however they coned off the path and closed the park… I was extremely upset by this… but I let Jenn and my folks know that it was closed, so my parents headed over to my place where I cooked my famous Steak Fajitas for everyone and we played buzz for a little bit and also watched a movie… Everything went very well… But overall I’ve been feeling better since writing that letter to Andrew a couple months back… It was very liberating but also said what I needed to say as well… But He will be missed and never forgotten! Andrew I love you!!! But that’s pretty much it for last week… Next stop… Football season!!!

Phew! Just surviving out here in the Arizona heat. But even the sun can’t stop Jasyn.com!!!

Well it’s been a really fast week, so I’ll keep this short and sweet! So last week mainly I’ve been hanging out with Laurie and just getting to know her… We have tons in common as it would appear, but still I’m just getting to know her… Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing that sticks out that screams that this shouldn’t happen… but I guess you can consider me gunshy or unable to just pull the trigger on this, but Laurie did mention to me that she’s not in a rush and that I can take my time to get all my ducks in a row [sorta speak]… This does take a ton of pressure off me and now I can still focus on the things I need to get straight in my life…

Also this week I bought a new Anime series called VanDread, which Laurie and I have been digging into and so far is pretty interesting, but seems to have very similar ‘double entandre’ type jokes over and over… But I’m a huge fan of anime as I’m sure many of you are aware, and my collection needed a new edition anyways… Although I keep forgetting about Moon Phase which I would eventually like to collect as well…

Also this weekend I splurged and got myself a new video game as well… And being the sucker for nostalgia that I am… I went out and bought the new Ghost Busters game for my PS3… lol… I was really geeked out this weekend… On Sunday I was glued to the TV set playing for 6 hrs straight… Sorry nothing makes you feel more geeked out than having power over an unlicensed nuclear accelerator [Told you I was geeking out]….

Well Things are moving along… not necessarily smoothly but they’re moving … But next weekend will be more of a somber one with my Son’s birthday coming up… Although I have been better since writing that letter to my son, but on the same token he’s still on my mind a lot, especially this time of year… All I can do is say a little something for him when I go to South Mountain, and leave my tears up there on the peak… But that’s all I’ve got this week folks! Here’s the score thus far in July: Jasyn 12, Era of Jason 2

Well, thus far I’ve really haven’t had much to report for the Era of Jason that is anything malicious or misfortuniate! Actually to tell you the truth, I’ve got quite the opposite and I’ll explain why… Well from my last entry during the middle of the week, I was quite bored… basically the whole week I was kinda depressed and alone for the majority of the week… The only thing I really had going for me was my regular poker game with my cousin on Thursday… Again after a poor showing in poker, I left early to go home and again do my regular routine of getting on the computer and checking email and all my dating profiles…

Well on Thursday night I was on yahoo as well and was talking to my friend Dawn who lives up in Show Low, AZ… Well on the spur of the moment we decided to meet up in Show Low on Friday night… So before bed I packed up a bag of stuff, and went to bed… The next day I went to work, and after work I immediately headed up to Show Low… Unfortunately I got such a late start, I left work at 6, but really didn’t start heading up about 6:30 at night… By the time I got to Globe, it started getting dark… and dark roads on Arizona Highways can be very dangerous… But I did make it up there by 10 or so that night, then stayed the night at my friends place… Although it was nice to see an old friend, I did leave a little earlier than I had originally anticipated…

Well When I got home early, I was pretty much kicking back all day and playing CoH and doing my regular day to day activities… But While in a set of missions in CoH I had received a new email… Well someone had replied to one of my profiles on a site I had signed up for but rarely got responses… But after chatting with her online, and calling her on the phone, we decided to meet up on Sunday for lunch just to give things a whirl!

Well Sunday I met up with the girl, whose name is Laurie. We met up for Chineese food and had a great conversation, so we decided to continue by going to Starbucks and continuing our conversation… We talked and talked for over an hour and a half just sitting outside and having a cigarette or 5 [haha]… But again the conversation was very upbeat and very interesting between us… Where one started the other elaborated and continued… We then took the conversation to cooler quarters… So we drove back to my place and tried to watch a movie, but again we just had such a great conversation, and talked about everything from anime to computers to past relationships… But it was just a nice time, nothing sexual, nothing raunchy… just a very nice time… We also hung out on Monday as well… and Plan on hanging out later this week as well… I’m very excited but again I used this term many times before, but I’m still “cautiously optimistic” but still I have hope for something amazing…

So far so good in the Era of Jason… Really the score should be 14-0 but 2 days were kinda on the fence so I chalked them to the Loss column… but really now we’re a couple weeks in and this is usually the time things start getting funny… usually 2 weeks in to July til the last two weeks of November… so we’ll see how everything goes… but really I’m hoping for things to really turn for the better for me soon!

Hello everyone, hoping your 4th of July weekend was safe and good!

Well we’re now in day 6 of the Era of Jason and thus far things are looking good… I have a breakdown of the score and so far I’m coming up with 5w 0L 0T as a record thus far…. yes I’m keeping score this year… who knows though, this might actually be the year that things turn around for me… but don’t get me wrong, I’ve had some bad luck, but the good luck seems to have superseded the bad luck.. I am going to explain further in a new game I like to call Good luck/Bad luck…

Sure enough that the The Era of Jason did start at midnight on July 1st… however when Ordering a pizza, I ended up placing the order about 11:00 PM on June 30th [You see where this is going?]… Well after an hour of waiting and no pizza, so I called up the pizza place and found out that I placed the order for Pickup, not delivery… [Good luck or Bad luck?] Well I left after hanging up the phone with the pizza place, started walking down the sidewalk when the sprinklers went on and got me all wet… however when I got there the guy hands me the pizza and wings and thus tells me the order was canceled on the card so the food was free after all that…

We’re going to fast forward to Friday… Originally Friday July 3rd is suppose to be a paid holiday for my company… however with not enough volunteers to work the day we were all forced to work [Good luck or Bad luck?]… Well I had left my debit card in my other pants and I had no money for food… However I showed up to work that morning and apparently I had won a spin contest at my work… that spin was worth $200 that was loaded into my card, but wouldn’t be available for over a week… so needless to say yeah I didn’t get to eat… but I still won money, so yeah…. starting to see a pattern?

Even though there were 5 days to report, I’m only giving you the nitty-gritty parts of it… so we’ll end with the 4th of July… I had gone over my parents house in the afternoon, Started drinking with my folks starting at 4PM… [you know the drill! Good luck or Bad luck?] Well My brother finally got off work and while we were in the pool his friend Josh decided to come over and had the idea of having us all going out to the desert to shoot off fireworks… So we had a Designated Driver, which was our best idea yet, but headed out to the desert… after buying some more Brandy and having a lot of fireworks we were prime to have a ‘blast’… well nothing went wrong with the fireworks, but my brother and his friend were kinda how I like to put,’stupid drunk’… But Kris’ friend decided it would be a novel idea to go run down a ditch [in the dark in the middle of the desert] and up the run up the hill on the other side… well Kris’ friend made it, but then my brother decided he could do it too… so right before he got to the bottom of the ditch, he slipped and fell on some rocks scratching up his side and bruising his arm and scraping up his elbow… So with him hurt, and with me as drunk as I was, had to go after him in the ditch… main problem being that I was in flip flops [that was dumb on my part]… but as I got about 3 feet into the ditch I stepped on a cactus and it stabbed me in the leg [picture is below]… so after having Kris’ only sober friend to get him out of the ditch and collecting his other drunk friend we went back home, where we all got sick from drinking too much… lol… So yeah.. it was still a very fun night, even with the injuries…

So thus far even though I’ve had SOME bad luck, it has been trumped by better good luck… But again we’re only a week into the Era of Jason… However it does appear that I’ve been more active lately and that things are starting to become more lively again… Well I think I’ve gave you enough to read this week See you again soon!
