Will Jasyn.com for food!

Well after a short week, Jasyn.com is back with a vengeance!

Well this week was pretty uneventful for a change… Not that I’m complaining at all, but I’m pretty much broke after the Vegas trip and upcoming bills, rent, ect… So I’ve been kicking back and watching movies, anime, [ and woot! ] Heroes is on tonight too!

Even though I haven’t been going out much, I have been able to spend alot of time with Blair… A bit more than usual actually, and loving every moment of it… I know this sounds a little weird but I find myself more at peace when she is around… Blair is planning on moving out of her moms house soon and moving in with a friend for a while… This gives us some more time to get to know each others tendencies and get more comfortable with us together before she comes and moves in permanently… I agree with her in this move, it’s still a bit early for us to be living together, but again it’s still hard to believe it’s already been 3 months…

Well the only eventful thing that happened to me is that my bed frame busted on Saturday, so now I have my box spring and mattress on the floor for the time being… but oh well worse things could have happened… but now I have to go shopping for a new frame… which is a shame because that old one was a very nice one and really made my bedroom nice looking… C’est la vie I guess… But that’s all for this week, take care everyone!

Viva Las Vegas!

After a 500 mile round trip, Jasyn.com is ready to get back to work once again!

Well my friends, Jasyn sure did lose his ass in Vegas… Not only did I just about throw my money away at poker, but even slots and video poker too! Sheesh, I guess I’m just a bad gambler ;) I even lost a bet with my friend Alan over the Cardinals game… Pfft!… Although I did learn how to play Blackjack better… Even though I did know the basic mechanics of Blackjack, I didn’t know how to play different table positions or when to hit or stay on what I had… My cousin helped out quite a bit to tell me which hands to play, and my brother helped me with the stats [Only after he looked them up online]… We mainly gambled at the ‘El Cortez’ Casino, which is located just off the old strip, It’s a little old Casino, but it had really good odds, cheap Blackjack hands and better odds around…. I had a blast, but ended down about $450-$500 or so… Eh whatcha goin to do… But I already posted the pics up as well…

Well I got back in on Monday Night, just in time for Heroes… But to my surprise, Blair had cleaned up my place, did the dishes and vacuumed my apartment and even got me a stuffed animal dog and balloon and left it on my bed… It was really sweet of her… Every day she surprises me just by the way she is… She is as honest and true person as I have ever met, and she really dedicates her self to this relationship as much as I am… I might have actually found my soul mate… Or at least I hope so… Honestly no one in my past can even hold a candle up to Blair thus far… Only time will tell, but she is quickly taking down all my emotional barriers that were in place because of all the bad things that has happened in the past, but I honestly trust Blair with my whole heart!!!

Well Today my new Cardinals Jersey came! It was a gift from my folks for my birthday but that one online store really screwed it up so they went to a different shop to get it customized for me!!! I can’t wait to get it after work, I’ll be heading down there right after work to get it!!! :D well pretty much you’re up to date! so I’ll be back to regular entries next week on Monday again!

One Week Til Vegas

VIVA LAS JASYN.COM!!!

Welcome again to Jasyn.com, I’m your host, moderator, admin, and friendly site creator Jasyn!… Well man what a week last week… Well as hard as this is to believe, I was without a voice for 3 days last week… Well even with out a voice I still had to work, and as most of you know already I’m a Phone support representative… But somehow I managed to scrape by with really crappy sales and hardly anyone could understand me… I mean I did have the ability to speak, but it sounded like I was a deaf or possibly mentally impaired [ LMAO ]… But after a trip to urgent care and some antibiotics and viccodin later I am back to good ol’ Jasyn once again….

Well the last weekend was quite uneventful, but also a welcome uneventful weekend… Blair came by on Thursday and Saturday, which was nice… Things are still going well between us, and with valentiens coming up soon, I’m planning on something for her, but I can’t disclose that on here just yet… Nothing too flashy but something worth mentioning ;)

Also at the end of this week I’ll be in Vegas!!! This will be the first time I’ll be gambling in Sin City!!! I’ve been to Vegas in the past, but never to gamble… I’m headin up there on Thursday Night with Erik, Kris, and my father and we are gone til Monday afternoon!… so yes it’s a all guy trip up with the guys in the family… We plan on playin some poker [ Well Erik, Kris and myself anyways]… and I’ve been playing more poker to get back in ‘poker-form’ or as close to is as possible, lol… but that’s proving to be more difficult than I originally thought… Oh well… But in any case, I think I’ve rambled enough for this week… However just so you’re all aware next weeks entry might be a day late, but least not a dollar short! so until next week, keep on Jasyn.com’ing.

The Day after the Big Game

Thank you for stopping by to my little neck of the Internet, welcome to Jasyn.com!

YEESH…. what happened yesterday??? Well As most of you who have been here before know that I’m an Avid Cardinals fan, and yes the Cardinals were in the Championship against the Steelers! For most of the game I was hangin my head low til the 4th Quarter where the Cardinals came back from being down by 13 points! But a last minuet drive sealed the deal for the Stealers and thus the Cardinals met their postseason demise… Although it was heartbreaking and I’m sure one day my blood-pressure will resume to normal levels, I just have to Thank the Cardinals for giving us the season that many of us have wanted for many many many many many many seasons now! Again THANK YOU for a season to be proud of!

Okay now that’s out of the way… This past week has been up and down, I’ve been fighting off some depressing moods lately, but after a few days I’ll be back to good ol’ Jasyn once again… But also this week I went and played poker, not really for practice but mainly for getting the feel for the table once again… I didn’t do too well in the first game [ damn chasers ] but on the second game at another league I finished 10th place… A much more respectable finish in my own opinion…

The reason for the table experience is because I’m headin up to Vegas here in 2 weeks… From Thursday the 12th to Monday the 16th I’ll be up in Las Vegas, it will not be my first time in Vegas… [went with Malibu back when I was 20] however, this will be the first time that I will legally be able to Gamble in Vegas, so I plan on going and spending some time at the Poker tables, and also see some shows, and just generally have a good time away from town for a few days… I Wish Blair could join, but she’s 20, and besides that she has an SCA event happening that weekend that will take up her whole weekend anyways… so it really worked out for both of us that it happened to be the same weekend :D

Things between Blair and I have gone really well so far, it’s been moving very slow and very steady… Compared to the last relationships I’ve had over the past 5 years that is… Blair and I are content with the way things are, she’s still living at home and has her full time job and her Dancing and SCA events, where I have my own place where she can come over and stay from time to time, and I have my video games and poker :) so really it works out for both of us… I hope that with time things become more ‘consolidated’ and obviously I hope more comes out of this in the end, but for the way things are now I’m very happy with everything and the way things turned out in the end… Jenn says that she’s glad we split up because she found someone that was more like her; I have to agree that I’m glad things didn’t work out between Jenn and I as well… Things like this happen for a reason, and I honestly believe this happened for the better for both of us…

Well enough rambling for now ;) I’m going to post this and get back to work… haha… well now football is done and over with I’m just going to have to wait for Baseball season once again :D well Batters up! Til next time my fellow Jasyn.com’ers!
