Finding a New Doctor!

Monday, January 26th, 2009

Well it’s time for a relaxing week from Jasyn.com. It might not be flashy, but it’s needed.

Well this past week was nice to just sit back and just chill out… After my birthday party 2 weeks ago and Blair and I going up to Payson last weekend, it was a well deserved break in the action… This week was nice to have rested up, even over the weekend it was pretty much a lazy week… Although I did have a doctors appointment on Friday early in the morning before work…

Well I setup an appointment with a new doctor on Friday, my old doctor was up in North Phoenix and is just plain inconvenient to drive all that way for a Doctor appointment… So I actually found a doctor that is literally right around the corner from me… Well the appointment was very good and performed a couple tests and weighted me… And finally some good news about my health… I found out that since last year I did drop 75 lbs total, and my diabetes has become much more manageable and that was without medication… I was just above normal by a little bit and again I hadn’t been on medications in about 3-4 months… So I’m on the right track it appears… But Now I’m back on my medications and hope to be down maybe another 100lbs before years end!

So this weekend I pretty much just relaxed and worked on my game that I play, [City Of Heroes] and it was Double experience weekend, which is a semi-annual event to help it’s members level up… I hit all my leveling goals, but man it was a pain in the arse to do… Also Blair did stop by on both Friday and Saturday and we had fun just hanging out and playing games and watching Heroes [the TV show]… But all in all I needed a break before next couple weeks where there’s Super Sunday next weekend, then 2 weeks after that I’m heading to Vegas with my Father, brother & cousin… so I’m going to end this entry right here :) Take care everyone!

OMFG!!!! The CARDS Are in the Superbowl!

Monday, January 19th, 2009

WOW, this week in the life of Jasyn.com has been Insanely spectacular, and you heard it here first on Jasyn.com!!!!

Well first off at the begining of the week as I’ve already reported, I took a 4 day weekend in order to just sit back and relax and just play video games and get a well deserved rest from work… It was just nice, no errands, no driving around, no irritated customers… I admit I enjoyed it a little too much… :) But on Wednesday it was back to the old grind… The week ended fairly quickly, [well duh being only a 3 day work week] which again was really nice…

On Friday, after I got off work I went home and took a nap, then woke up to go pick up Blair from work 12:30am… We then left there to head up to the Payson area to go up to Blair’s Cabin in Bear flats which is about 20 miles east of Payson, in the middle of Tonto National Forest… When we arrived, after shopping for provisions at Walmart [ACK], and finally got in about 3:30am in the pitch black darkness of the forest I honestly couldn’t see anything, but once we got into the cabin and finally turned on all the lights inside I was honestly flabergasted with the look and comfortable feeling of this place… It felt so homelike and oldtyme with a simple log cabin, honestly this place was breathtakingly amazing…

The next morning I woke up next to Blair, then I got dressed and headed outside… as I did I was awestruck to finally see the scenery that I missed out the night before… this cabin was completely tucked away behind a mountain range in a tiny little valley no more than a square mile wide… the moutain tops completely filled with trees and a small creek that flowed behind the cabin itself… I honestly could not put into words how beautiful this was other than to say that no picture, painting, or sketch could even come close to capturing this aweinspring beauty, and Blair decided to share this with me… we spent the whole day together just cooking, and watching some movies, talking, we drove into town to pick up bread and such, but returned shortly after… To tell you the truth, it was one event I never wanted to see end… However, as like everything else in life, all good things must come to an end…

On Sunday, after sleeping in and eating breakfast, we picked up the Cabin to the way we left it and headed back home… The drive takes about 2 hours, and we started about 12:15 in the afternoon… We got into payson about 12:45 or so and then flipped on the much anticipated Championship game between the Cardinals and Eagles… This deffineatly made the drive seem shorter than what it was… From the start of the game, the Carindals looked [okay sounded, beacuase I was listening on the radio] like a completely different team! It was amazing, they were up 21-6 by the time I made it home… I ended up seeing the last half of the 2nd quarter and see the halftime score of 24-6 and the Cardinals DOMINATING!!! It was EPIC to behold!

Then the second half came along, and right from the start Philly was to make sure that we would not forget they were still there! They Came storming back to make the game 25-24 Philly on top! At this point I was about to have an astma/anxiety/heart-all-in-one attack… Til’ something amazing happened… Kurt Warner leads the Cardinals down the field in the 4th quarter with what will be known to all as the drive in Arizona! 72 yards, 8 mins and a touchdown and a two point conversion to go up by 7 with only 3 mins to go in the game… and then Philly went 4 and Out and didn’t convert… Final Score 32-25, and all I can say is this… OMFG! THE CARDINALS ARE IN THE SUPERBOWL!!!!!!!!!!

If there ever was a weekend that was tailor made for just me, this weekend would be it… The uncomprehensible beauty of going out in the cabin, and feeling refreshed and revitalized, then the Cardinals unpredictiable and completely surreal bowl birth… I’m honestly besides myself at this time… the only things that does come to mind, is that it wouldn’t have been nearly as perfect if my girl Blair wasn’t there with me… Now I must plan for the big game and see where we’re having the party at!!! But now I must go and get back to work and yes I’m working on MLK day… but in any case I’m outta here for now… Phew!!!

A Quarter-Century Old!

Welcome to a special birthday addition to Jasyn.com!!!

well everyone, just wanted to say hello while I’m on my days off from work and sitting at home doing absolutely nothing!!! YAY… gotta love paid time off… But also today is my birthday, and wow, I’m already 25… man days get faster and faster and soon I’ll be 30, then 40, then 50, and I hope to have Jasyn.com up for that long and maybe longer!!! If the fates allow that is!!!

Well the last week was rockin! I was really pumped up for my birthday party that was [for the first time] held at my place!!! I had went shopping for ‘key’ essentials [booze and chips] for the party and also did a little grocery shopping while I was there and filled up the fridge once again [beer and ham] haha… But it was all worth it, I had people starting to show up at like 2pm with my friend Katie and my parents showing up shortly after that…

The night before I entrusted Blair with a most important task for my birthday… she had to take the pictures and keep me drinking! And she did not disappoint… Sure enough she took about 90% of the movie clips on my videos page for my birthday, and about 80% of the pictures :D and was there every time my drink went dry… and she makes the best rum and coke! haha… So most of everyone showed up by 5 or so, including Erik and Margie; we all had a blast playing Buzz Trivia, and just chatting it up… then the Cardinals game came on at 6:15… and Down by a touchdown early… BRING ON THE BIRTHDAY CAKE AND MY BIRTHDAY WISH… sure enough I wished for a Cardinals victory… and they pulled out a big one!!! 33-13 win in CAROLINA!!! WOOT!… and it’s all thanks to my timely wishing ;) [okay it's true that I did wish for the Cardinals to win, but I don't take full credit ;) ]

Also my gifts were pretty awesome this year… Erik and Margie got me some of Blair’s famous hot sauce, which burnt the F$*# out of my tongue, and some City of Heroes table top figurines [I thought it was thoughtful]… Blair got me a really awesome keyboard for my PS3 Controller that is also a touch sensitive mouse! Kris got me a $100 at Fry’s Electronics [which after this entry I'll be spending]…. and the grand finale… my parents got me a new football tailgating grill and my authentic #50 Cardinals Jersey… WOOTICUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes I have a jersey already, but the one Jenn got me for Christmas over a year ago is already so fadded and it was a replica [it was still thoughtful of her] but now I have my AUTHENTIC Jersey which has sown on letters and numbers and lasts for years!!!

Honestly I have to say that this was the best birthday ever… I have to thank everyone that made this possible, and although I was disappointed in some people that promised to be present and have yet to call me or to even give me an excuse, I was still very, very, very happy with the way things turned out and that EVERYONE had a great time at Jasyn’s Place! Everyone please check out the pictures and the video [which I'm drunk off my butt] out on the pictures section!!! Next stop TAILGATING IN GLENDALE!!!

Another Begining to a New Year…

Happy New Year Everyone, Time for the first entry of 2009 from Jasyn.com!!!

Well 5 Days into the new year and we get this entry going right on time!! Woot Woot!!! Well I hope everyone had a safe and fun new year and celebrated it with loved ones or just some close friends will do too… Well for my New Years, I had to kinda keep it mellow being that I was kinda forced to work on New Years day [It's better not to ask about why I was 'forced']… lol… So I had Blair stay the night and we went and Played some video games, and also watched movies til Midnight came and we had our traditional first new years kiss and kinda went to be early…

The next morning, I had to show up at work at 7AM!!! That’s a Full two and a half hours before my normal shift… The day was basically dead, but at least they put up a couple bowl games on TV and it helped the day pass by quicker which was nice… But after wards I went home and I was just so exhausted… But I didn’t want to nap because that would have really messed up my sleep schedule… So I stayed up til 11pm playing City Of Heroes and Assassins Creed! [Which is a totally awesome game]…

So after the weekended, nothin much really went on.. On Saturday I pretty much lazed about but I did watch the Cardinals game… And it was the first home playoff game the Cardinals organization had in 61 years!!! And come to find out they actually showed up to play! They took care of business against the Falcons 30-24, so now next week, The Panthers!!!

Well it’s time to bring this first entry to a close though… On a side note, my birthday will be next Monday on the 12th! I’ll be 25 [whoo-hoo!]… And my parents will be throwing me a party at my place this year in Mesa! All my friends are invited to show up! Email me though if you plan on attending… So I hope to have everyone have a good time as well when they come by! But in any case on that note, I’ll be on my way!
