Geeezus Kryst!!! Well I’m completely spent and sore today… I have been hard at work all weekend long without stopping other than to sleep, trying to get my new place in order… Well it all started last week on Friday, After work on Friday I had to go pick up my mother, but she wasn’t getting into town for a couple hours, so I went down to my new complex to see if the place was ready to go. Well when I got there it wasn’t ready just yet, the carpet cleaner guys were still there finishing up, so I finshed with the terms with the management, and by the time I was done the carpet guys were out. So I did a walk through and found various repairs that still required some attention, but those are getting done as of today! Well then I picked up the Mother and took her home.
Well On Friday night after dropping off my mom at home my brother followed me to the old apartment and helped me load up the truck to the brim with boxes and the snake tank. To the place, it took about an hour to load up then about a 30 mins drive then another 30 mins to unload, but we did dilly-dally a bit for Kris to kinda look over the place and check out the new pad [he loved it!]… Well once everything was situated, Kris and I decided to head back to my parents house and just stay there for the night, so I crashed out about 1am and was out like a light…
In the middle of the night, I ended up hyper-extending my leg and pulled my calf muscle the wrong way… Well figures that I did that on the night before I was moving… Well pain or no pain, I was getting away from Timbertree as fast as I could!!! So bright and early 6:30 AM and headed down to the Old place at 7:15Am and got started with moving everything out, boxes, suitcases, cans, everything out… The movers finally got there at 9:20AM and got all the furniture and heavy items…. and we were out the door by 10:50AM, it took about another 30 mins to get down to the new apartment and unloaded the whole place, it took about an hour and a half or so to complete and we were done getting everything in! After which I paid the movers [that set me back $300, but so worth it]… and then we went out for lunch, but again by this time, I’m sore and already hurting bad…
Well after lunch I went down and picked up Nicole and her daughter Alannah, so Nicole could help me unpack and get the place up and in order, and we tore through boxes left and right… We got most of the kitchen done and part of the living room and Computer hooked up, but needless to say, COX [Bastards] didn’t transfer my information over properly and my TV, Phone and internet were jacked… ack… so Cox [bastards] are coming today to fix it even though they were suppose to do fix it on Saturday… ARG… But C’est la vie [That's life]…
Well As of right now, the Kitchen is about 80% done, the Office is completely finished, the bedroom is about 40% done, and the Living area is about 50% done… So hopefully by the end of my 3 day weekend coming up I’ll be completely moved in and done with the entire setup, but it’s so much work, with Nicole going home today and me being on my own it’s just a lot of work for one man to do on his own! But it will be so worth it! Sorry that I haven’t been available much for email or phone calls, but I have my new number so if you need it please email me and I’ll pass it along to you! Well kiddies, I’m outta here!!! Hopefully I wont be so sore tomorrow, but man My legs and calfs are killing me… UGH!!!!
